Are You Opening A New Restaurant in 2022?

Have you been saving during the last year and now have enough to realise your dreams of being a restaurant owner? Well before you open the doors to the first patrons there are alot of factors that need to be assessed before you do. So how do you make sure that you, your staff, your customers and your property is protected from fire as best as it can be?

ICO Mist Systems

Aside from the obvious of keeping the kitchen tidy and in a great condition to stop the chance of grease fires and keeping the kitchen area combustible free, it's also important and required to have a form of fire suppression. That is where our ICO systems come in. They are a fantastic way of releasing a water mist that is activated when a heat sensitive bulb is triggered, in turn this releases a mist that starves oxygen from the fire and keeps it from spreading. It can even eliminate the fire altogether.

This ingenious system is compact and easy to run, the pump itself requires only 12lpm (Litres Per Minute) that means it can be easily plugged into the mains and is then ready for use.

Commercial Sprinkler Systems

Sometimes (very rarely) a fire is not able to be suppressed before it gets too hot and burns too quickly, this is why it is recommended that multiple fire safety devices are installed to better protect your restaurant. This is where a commercial sprinkler system is in place, by widening the area and applying water straight from a water pipe to the property it is more assured that the fire will be put out.

In our vast range of products and services we have a fantastic selection of commercial sprinkler systems at your disposal. This ranges from Wet Pipe Sprinkler systems, Dry Pipe Sprinkler Systems, Pre-Action Sprinkler Systems and Deluge Sprinkler Systems

Knowing the law on the usage of these devices is important as it is a legal requirement to carry out a fire risk assessment if the business employs 5 or more people, and then if the property covers an area of 20,000m2 or more then it is a legal requirement for sprinklers to be in place.
